NHS Friends and Family Test
The NHS Friends and Family Test is a nationwide initiative to gather feedback from patients about the care and treatment they receive in hospital.
At Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, the views of our patients and carers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether your feedback is good or bad – we want to know. We take your feedback seriously and seek to improve the care and treatment we provide by listening and responding to what you have to say.
The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide us with feedback on the care and treatment you have received at our hospitals.
The Friends and Family test asks just one question:
'How likely are you to recommend our ward/department to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?'
You will be invited to respond to the question by choosing one of six options, ranging from 'extremely likely' to 'extremely unlikely'.
It is important that we understand the reasons for your answer, so please answer any follow-up questions. All responses are completely confidential and cannot be traced back to you. A member of your family or a friend is welcome to answer the question if you are unable to.
Your feedback will provide valuable information to help us provide the best possible care to all of our patients.
