Theatre scrub practitioners

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust provides hospital and community services to residents in south east London.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 theatre scrub practitioners who are keen to develop and maintain a high standard of skills and knowledge. We welcome applications from operating department practitioners and nurses with some theatre knowledge. You will receive structured mentoring and bespoke training to support you in your role.

We offer experience in a variety of elective and emergency surgical specialties including
orthopaedics/trauma, general/bariatric and laparoscopic surgery, urology, ENT, gynaecology, paediatric surgery and obstetrics.

The Trust operates across two sites – University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Greenwich. Staff appointed to this role will be based on one site, but will support the other site depending on the needs of the service.
