Healthcare sciences and pharmacy

Healthcare science staff play a vital role in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a huge number of medical conditions. They also help people live independent lives through rehabilitation.

We have roles available across all of the healthcare science disciplines including decontamination, pathology, medical physics, audiology and nuclear medicine.

Our pharmacy department at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective use of medicines to meet our patients’ needs.  The department is committed to delivering a high quality patient-focused service to all our patients and aims to ensure the safe, timely and effective use of medicines.

The department provides career opportunities at every level, from school leaver to consultant pharmacist, with a dedicated education lead and an established education forum.

Roles in pharmacy include dispensary, clinical pharmacy, community health services, medicines information and formulary and medicines management.
