We have chosen Dr Doctor as our Patient Portal.

DrDoctor offers a patient portal web application that is specifically designed to work seamlessly on mobile devices, tablets, and desktops. Our patients will be directed to access the DrDoctor functions either via SMS or via a web link embedded in text messages.

DrDoctor functions include:

  • Digital Letters:  patients will receive an SMS/email with a link to their digital letter. Patients that do not read their letter online are automatically send a paper copy.
  • Notifications: Patients receive an SMS/email/ app notification when an appointment is booked/rescheduled/cancelled.
  • Appointment reminders: Patients can receive automated reminders about their upcoming appointments via email or SMS.
  • Clinic information: Patients can access information about their clinic, such as specialty, location, and clinic contact details
  • Questionnaires and surveys: Patients may be asked to complete online questionnaires or surveys before or after their appointment to provide additional information to their healthcare provider.
  • Appointment management (basic and advanced rescheduling): Patients will have ability to reschedule or cancel some appointments if needed.
  • Digital PIFU: Patients can be added to patient-initiated follow-up lists, where they can easily make an online request for a follow-up appointment
  • Quick Question: The Trust can send a simple 1-question survey to up to 10,000 patients at a time
  • Broadcast Message: The Trust can send a text message to up to 10,000 patients at a time
    Appointment booking: Patients can view available appointment slots and book appointments with their service provider.
  • Two-way messaging: is a quick & easy messaging tool for the Trust to have secure, two-way communications with a patient via the Patient Portal.
