Join the Library

Eligibility

Staff employed by the following organisations can join the library:

• Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and affiliated organisations 
• South London and the Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, if based in Lewisham
• General practice staff based in Lewisham

Students on placement at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust can also join the library. Please note that students are only able to use our libraries while on placement at the Trust.

How to join

Register online for a borrowing account: London Health Libraries

This will allow you to borrow our books, and to request articles and books that are not part of our collections. Once you have registered, please visit the library to collect a barcode sticker. This sticker will be placed on the back of your ID badge, and will allow you to use our self-issue machines.

It is only necessary to register once, selecting either QEH or UHL as your home library. This will allow you to borrow books from either library.
