Stars of the Month for March
Congratulations to LGT’s Legal Services Team for being named our LGT Stars of the Month for March. The Legal Services Team provides a dedicated in-house legal service and is a one-stop shop for all the Trust’s Healthcare legal needs. The team was nominated for the prestigious 'All Stars Award' and here’s why:
“Barbara consistently goes above and beyond, both on the ground attending demanding and often contentious inquest hearings and at a managerial level, where she oversees data and reporting across the board to ensure the service runs smoothly.
"Rohit and Peter bring a wealth of expertise in both clinical and non-clinical legal matters. Their efforts in successfully defending the Trust help prevent significant financial losses, allowing those funds to be reinvested back into LGT.
"Karen and Alan have dedicated over ten years to LGT, and their deep understanding of the service is invaluable. Working across sites but closely together, they ensure every inquest runs smoothly and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues.
"Janice and Christina tackle challenging tasks daily with positivity and grace, ensuring that external parties receive their requests promptly. A special mention goes to our volunteer, Peter, who works tirelessly within the team and has now become an honorary member.
"This team's hard work sometimes goes unnoticed, yet they all collaborate seamlessly to keep the service running smoothly. The team is always approachable , accessible, and kind, reflecting the Trust's values in everything they do."
The team was congratulated and presented with their certificate, a £100 voucher from LGT, and a fruit basket donated by Hasan Er, who runs the fruit stall at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

We work to the our best abilities every day following the Trust’s values, and we are grateful to be recognised with such a prestigious award.We would like to thank our Directorate colleagues for always showing support, our wider staff for always engaging positively when we reach out for assistance, and our Head of Legal Services for leading the team in the right direction. Legal Services act on behalf of the Trust, offering advice and assistance to colleagues who require this. We are thrilled to receive the LGT Star of the Month award and aim to continue to serve the best interests of the Trust and its valued colleagues".
