Enhanced Cancer Services for Children
Where? Queen Elizabeth Hospital
We have made lots of improvements on Tiger Ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, which is one of the largest shared care cancer units for children in the UK. A new scheme was launched in March 2015 to enable some patients to return home from Queen Elizabeth Hospital sooner, with specialists nurses visiting patients in their own homes to provide nursing care and rehabilitation.
