Art and Design at University Hospital Lewisham
When the Riverside block was built, the building managers, Carillion, provided funding to purchase a number of works of art. These were recommended by Creative Lewisham consultant Ben Eastop and chosen by the Lewisham Hospital Arts Committee.
There are a number of original works of art on display which are open to visits by members of the public, including:
‘Blue Well’ by Chris Marshall; a tower of coloured glass and metal, behind the Riverside Building.
'Reds' by Rona Begum; resin panels in the main Riverside entrance and along the ground floor corridor.
Annie Cattrell layered printed glass windows, along the ground floor corridor of the Riverside Building.
