Community Anticoagulation in Greenwich

Blood tests

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust have recently started providing anticoagulation services across the Greenwich community.

The new service, which will benefit up to 1,000 patients, enables eligible anticoagulation patients to receive faster treatment in community clinics that are closer to their homes, rather than having to travel further afield. The first of our community anticoagulation services will be provided at Plumstead Health Centre and Royal Arsenal Medical Centre.

Who are community anticoagulation clinics for?

If your INR results are stable, you may be identified as someone who would be able to transfer to a community clinic and you may be contacted by the community booking team to help select the best clinic for you.

We currently provide two anticoagulant clinics in the Greenwich Community:

  • Plumstead Health Centre, Tewson Rd, London SE18 1BH
  • Royal Arsenal Medical Centre, 21 Arsenal Way, Woolwich, London SE18 6TE
