Congratulations to Victoria Brown and Caroline Ogden
We are delighted to announce that our colleagues Victoria Brown, Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Bladder, Bowel, and Pelvic Health Team and Caroline Ogden, Stoma Clinical Nurse Specialist have been shortlisted for awards in the British Journal of Nursing (BJN) Awards 2024.
The prestigious British Journal of Nursing Awards are a showcase of nursing excellence, highlighting the critical contribution that nurses make to healthcare.
Victoria is a finalist for the ‘Continence Nurse of the Year Award'. Incontinence can have an enormous impact on the quality of life of the people it affects. The award was open to an individual or team who had made a significant impact on patients in their care.
Caroline is a finalist for the ‘Stoma Care Nurse of the Year Award’. The formation of a stoma can be a distressing and painful experience for a patient. The award champion nurses and the excellent work they are doing in looking after these patients.
The awards ceremony will take place in London on 22 March 2024. Good luck to Victoria and Caroline and congratulations on this fantastic achievement.
